Chamber Singers Auditions — Fall 2026

August 29 & August 30, 2026 — The Georgetown University Chamber Singers are holding auditions for the Fall 2026 semester. All Georgetown students are welcome to audition regardless of major or school. The audition piece is Thomas Tallis’ If ye love me — sheet music will be provided in advance.

Concert Choir

The Georgetown University Concert Choir is an SATB ensemble that performs sacred and secular works from all periods of music history. The Choir performs one major concert each semester, collaborating frequently with the Georgetown University Orchestra and guest artists. Open by audition to students, faculty, staff, and members of the University community. Host of the annual Messiah Sing-Along.

Chamber Singers

The Georgetown University Chamber Singers, founded in 1992, is a select group of mixed voices organized to perform small choral masterworks from the Renaissance through the twenty-first century. Emphasis is placed on the art of a cappella singing, with repertoire spanning Josquin, Palestrina, Byrd, Poulenc, and living composers. The ensemble performs on campus, at venues across Washington, and on tour.
